2600 crores for memorials

source: MSN News

SC says,

As per the reports you (UP Govt) are spending Rs 2,600 crore. Your state GDP is only around 2 per cent. We may ask the government as to how such a colossal expenditure can be incurred.

and Mr. Mishra as Mayawati’s defence, argue

The memorials constructed for various national leaders including ex-Prime Ministers and four members of one family (Nehru) at an estimated cost of Rs 10,000 crore.

If thousand of crores for memorials after dead, and another thousand of crores while living, and levying one third of common man’s earning, then I believe shooting these bloody idiots at point blank range is no crime.

Why don’t we send these stupids to school for primary education ?

Automative Black-box

source: MSN News

Very practical device. I wish and dream on one day; all comfortably sized vehicles including light, mid and heavy fitted with black-box kind of devices. Today Post Accidents reports contain mostly who was right, who was wrong, and rarely what went wrong. Fitting black-box adds different prospective to investigation; it will clear “innocents” being unnecessarily torched. Unlike countries, priority after accident is give bumps on living driver. It will also educate owner how drive safe and manufactures can think of how to improve system in place to avoid mishaps.

source: MSN News

“Fishing expedition is not allowed (anywhere in) the world. We have the OECD standards. We follow international rules…. We do not protect crime,” Leuthard, who is also Minister for Economic Affairs, said.

Leuthard said India would have to apply through legal procedures, based on the existing double taxation avoidance treaty, if it had demands about specific cases of tax evasion.”

So what is the catch ? who is lying ? India or Swiss.
