 Doctor Harsha graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. degree
in 1978. He then attended the Medical College of Virginia and received his Doctor of
Dental Surgery degree in 1982. While at the Medical College of Virginia, he received
several awards as the most outstanding student in his class.
Dr. Harsha received his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of
North Carolina. During this four years of intensive training he served as a resident
physician at North Carolina Memorial Hospital.
In l985 he was appointed Chief Resident in
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He received his Master's Degree in l986 from the
University of North Carolina. As part of his training, he studied overseas with some of
the most influential plastic, maxillofacial and reconstructive surgeons in the world.
 Dr.
Harsha has presented the results of his surgery
to numerous professional organizations in the United States and Europe. He is the author
of a number of articles published in the medical literature.
